I bought this with the intent of restoring it, (about 8 years ago). LOL.Unfortunately I have about 6 other cars and I just don't have the time. You can drive this baby home. It will go to California and back, no problem. The engine and transmission are fine, The transmission has been rebuilt and is absolutely perfect. Of course the car needs a full restore, but at least you don't have to worry about the drive train. Car is complete and has never been molested. It is absolutely original in all details. Has bumper/fender damage to right front, as you can see in the picture. All I have to do is put the driver seat back in and you can drive it home. I removed the carpet and had it cleaned, it's in GREAT condition and ready to reinstall. I have done a few things to it. Rebuilt the carburetor, installed new fuel and air filters, flushed the cooling tank, wiper blades, etc. And a new FORD Emblem on deck lid, a few other odds and endsjust so it would be safe and reliable to drive.I still drive it on occasion and it ALWAYS starts right up. Has aOPTIMA battery, Red Top(not shown). Has Amplified Speakers you can turn on while driving, which is a really nice feature, For you guys out there my age, remember Mind Blower Speakers :) The convertible top needs to be replaced, that's why I don't have a picture of it.
