Up for sale sadly(I'll explain) is my 1976 Ford Bronco. Automatic C4/302. I originally bought the bronco back in 2004, and it was my daily driver for several years. Right when I bought it I replaced the front brake lines, rotors and calipers(I think). I had the exhaust done, and I believe a couple front end pieces (tie rods maybe) and an alignment. The original engine went out when it was my daily driver- and I was unable to save to block. What I put in was supposedly a low mileage '94 roller 302 out of a mustang GT. It ran about the same and burns some oil. I had intentions at the time of restoring it and the motor I had originally had for it was being built so I didn't worry about the roller engine too much. The transmission front seal also failed around this time. New converter and front seal was replaced. Also the shift tube broke- I installed a floor shifter at the time due to down time and had originally intended on replacing the tube/column during the restore. Other than the engine, exhaust, and transmission converter - everything else should be original. There were front tow hooks welded extra shocks welded/mounted to the frontend prior to purchasing it- I'll explain more later. Fenders were cut prior to purchasing. CD-player does not work anymore. I do have a speaker box and amp that fits behind the back seat I will include with the sale if you want- up to you. Haven't used it since it was taken apart for restoration- so I'm not sure if it still works-I would assume it does. Front Shock addition- See pics- The mounts are welded to the Coil spring towers and Radius Arm caps. Like I had mentioned- this was done prior to purchasing- but this bronco was super solid and stable in the front end. I've drove several early broncos- and none that were as smooth and stable is this. Original Restoration Plan- began around 2009. The top, doors and interior was taken out. The original plan was to go back soft top. I have re-purchased the original actual top from this bronco that is included with the sale(I'll explain this more with shipping info) It has not been used on anything since it was taken off this bronco. I don't have any other info on it that the picture thats included. But it functioned normally when originally taken off. Parts were stored on crates in a separate location. I believe the original (orange) spare tire mount is in this- if not- I have a older (blue) one and air cleaner that I will include as well that are currently sitting in the bronco. The original spare tire, dash pad, doors, and some trim pieces/hardware are included in the crates. The bronco has always been stored inside since the top was taken off. Thats where the sadly comes in. It was stored at a family members house that sold their house and the bronco is currently in my garage. I have kicked it around how to keep it and I just don't have the room for it. So my loss. Obviously with this being a '76 its one to hang onto and I can't believe I'm even posting this. Doors/Rust. The doors did not sag and functioned perfectly when taken off. I tried to include several pictures of this still being solid- both from the doors and the bronco. The drivers door has a minor dent just under the latch- nothing major for a restoration. Also the door bottoms are in good condition- see pics. The bronco has the typical early bronco rust for it's age. Floor pans/kick panels/rear floor. Nobody has touched the body etc....other than the front left corner(see pics) this was also prior to me purchasing-and the rear flares. The tailgate functions normally - it has rust on the bottom- the original plan was to just cap it- not sure the best route anymore, but that was the original plan. Frame is in excellent condition. I tried to include several pictures of the frame. When it was parked everything functioned- gauges and all- and it didn't leak a drop. Front bumper is slightly bent and cracked at the attachment bolt. I honestly probably would of drove it more if I had the space with he top being off one the restoration was delayed. But it stayed in storage and was moved in and out yearly to get farm equip out. The recent move- The bronco did not start. It had both fuel lines at the tank (main and aux) needing repair. As well as the fuel pump and Carb. Also- the brake master has started leaking. The lines were repaired and pump. Carb changed and brake master filled and the bronco drove over 15 miles home to where she sits now. I didn't notice the fuel gauge functioning- but also there wasn't much fuel used so not sure if thats a new problem or not. Battery charged- but not sure how dependable it is. The new fuel pump has a small leak at the output connection- not sure if the pump itself it bad- or if the flare possibly cracked. I can either change the pump/metal line- or remove the pump and warranty it and ship it with a new pumpkin the box. The carb also is one my family collects. So it does not come with. I'm assuming whoever purchases this doesn't care about the battery, fuel pump and carb etc- but I can come up with something to ship it out with carb wise if needed. It does have a aluminum 4 barrel intake on it. So Purchasing/Shipping. Please ask any questions before bidding. I merged the pics to include everything- but feel free to ask any questions. I've tried to explain everything in the best detail I can. As far as shipment. I will help and assist with getting it loaded etc. Even it doesn't have a carb etc. The top- I can have it set on the bronco for shipment if its helpful vs shipping separately- but it is included with the sale. Same as the doors- I can have them put on with the top. I just wanted to hold off incase it was purchased locally and they didn't want them installed. This is the absolute perfect Bronco for the restoration process with the year/condition/power steering/power brakes. She is ready to be restored!!! The Bronco is being sold as is, as described, no returns once shipped, and with a clean Kansas Title. It is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel to auction early if it does sell prior. Thanks!
