Description of 1985 Ford Mustang GT |
1985 Mustang GT Extremely clean and completely original. Pictures show the condition. It has been stored indoors. Without over stating it, it is just an extremely nice Mustang GT. It is a 2 owner car. 14,029 original miles 5spd (only the manual shift cars had the more aggressive roller camshaft). Included in the pictures are these documents: Build sheet included from Ford Motor Company Original window sticker Original Bill of sale Receipt of purchase Receipt for Ford Super Seal Protection Plan applied 6/29/85*popular to have cars sealed/undercoated in the 1980's Original markings still on the underneath torsion bar and rear end. Original and very clean. Owner warranty card (amazing to get this included) Looking through the records also showed an official Ford Motorsports Installation kit M-5246-A for a stainless Steel Off Road Exhaust Kit. It also included the Ford M-5059-A transmission crossmember.* yes, I do have the original exhaust components in perfect condition. Original Ford mud flaps or splash guards. I took them off, but they are in perfect shape. Like it shows in the Car and Driver adverstisement. Car cover included as well Books and misc literature Deluxe Marti Report (shows order date, build date, sell date, options, rear end ratio, selling Ford dealer) All original down to the Goodyear Gatorbacks (original from new and still deep in tread life). There are several good magazine articles on the '85 GT and also a great vintage Motorweek comparing the same year Z/28 and Trans Am. Feel free to call anytime to discuss. I've got more pictures. If you are looking for a comparison, search Barrett Jackson 1985 Mustang GT and you will see a very similar 1985 Mustang GT 5spd that sold last year for 33K. The pictures are a good comparison to a factory stock car. Paint is factory and original. No fading and any of the black plastic moulding. All market lights are bright with no fading. The car is super complete. Map light works, headliner perfect, interior is like new, AC works, foglights are mint with factory Marchal covers, all decals are nice including the "Get it Together" on the windows and the green stamp on the alternator. All decals on hood and rear are correct as well. Gatorback VR60's were awesome during this year (first year for these tires). The tires are the ORIGINAL 1985 date coded tires. Scroll in the pictures and really look at this car. My father was a Ford dealer from 82-92 in Winnie, Tx and this was a dream car. I sat in each one that came in. He only ordered the manual transmission cars with cloth. The 1985 model had 210hp (more than 200hp '86) and it was the last year with the carburetor (roller motor with manual trans only). I had several questions during the first run, so many of these questions have been answered in the new article. I looked for years for the right '85 GT. This is it. 832 434 7788 Terms: Deposit due within 1 day of end of action via paypal. 7 day transaction time frame completion. The car is sold in as is condition. Come in to inspect. |
