Description of 1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang Convertible project car. solid shell. I purchased this car a few years ago. used some parts off it (motor and trans. suspension. steering column) and now just need to open up some room in my shop. The body is rust free. the pans were replaced. the driver quarter was replaced. fender aprons etc were replaced. The good is all the new metal. the bad is that much of it was done by an amateur and the welds are ugly. Plan on about a half day to full day of grinding down the welds. just my opinion. The other problem that I am aware of is the car fell off a ramp while being loaded on a trailer by the previous owner. We all know how fragile the mustang fronts are. and when the left tire hit the ground it bent the shock tower top towards the right. Nothing that can't be pulled out and re-aligned in my opinion but plan on work on the front to re-align and fix welds etc. All the negatives being said. it is a SOLID body and beats paying $15K+ for a Dynacorn. I do have some of the convertible chrome for the top of the windshield (not pictured) and the rear seat and back seat interior panels (not pictured). The 4 bolt suspension is just there to make the car a roller. I took the 5 bolt disc set-up off the car (sorry I needed it for an Eleanor). I might have a 5 bolt front set and a 9 inch rear end laying around. if you need it I'm sure we could work out a fair price. The Shelby trunk lid is NOT included. I have the original for the car that will go with the car. (If you want the Shelby trunk lid and extensions I have those and would sell for half my cost of $495. so $250. I took the window mechanisms out of the doors (but glass will go with the car). The convertible top appears to all be there along with the motor. but I have never attempted to close it. I do not have a title for the car. it did come with a dash VIN tag and I will pass that along to the buyer. I do not have a history on the car other than I purchased it from a seller in Texas. If interested I have a 351 and a 390w/C6 if you need an engine. both motors need rebuilt although the 390 was running good when it was pulled and I will sell them for what I paid for them. I am an honest Ebay and expect the same from potential buyers. Car is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for looking and good luck.
