Description of 1967 Ford Mustang |
Two flakes on Ebay bought it but never paid as one wanted me to cover shipping to another state...so it's up for sale again. The hood is from a 68 and it has the turn signals in it. Love that. Car is insured for $8,000 I first bought this car at age 19 and kept it for 20 years. Sold it in 2001 and in 2015 bought it back only to realize it was the same exact car that I'd sold years earlier! What are the odds? My hope was to restore it in the condition that it was when I first sold it but I living solely on a Disability income (which is less than poverty level) and without anyone to help me I had to finally admit that it's beyond what I can do financially. So my hope is to get enough money for a down-payment on my first home, at age 55 and someone can restore her to her former beauty. My baby runs and drives but is considered a project car to me. It does need a couple of gaskets (oil cover gasket and exhaust manifold gasket) and the gas gauge doesn't work. Needs some welding underneath. Comes with a new headliner and new carpeting. Also have the door panel which is off in the picture. American Racing wheels and new tires are about 1 year old and cost approximately $2,000 for wheels and tires. Had engine completely rebuilt in 1996. While the odometer reads 182,000 it's around 30,000 on the rebuilt. Engine is tired. It longs for a 289 to be dropped in. Paint is cracking in some areas. As Is. Please help me get my first home and take good care of my baby. An unknown neighbor just put a scratch on the quarter panel. picture added.Car must be removed from Aloha, Oregon within 2 weeks of auction's close.
