Have you been searching for the 'perfect' Hot Rod, one that actually drives & performs just as good as it looks? Well, I think I have just the car that you have been searching for.'Red Hills Rods & Classics' is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous, all Henry Ford steel 1930 Ford 5-Window Model A Coupe, built by Travis Von Deeter & Danny Coggins @ 'Welderup' in Las Vegas, home of the Discovery channel television series 'Vegas Rat Rods!...When I say that this is the 'perfect' Hot Rod, I mean just that! It has the 'perfect' traditional chopped Hot Rod look, built on a real 1930 Ford 5-Window Model A Coupe body. This beautiful Hot Rod was completed less than 90 days ago, so you are basically getting a brand new '30 Ford Coupe w/ less than 220 miles since completion. All of the build reports & receipts are present and will go to the new owner. This is a real Hot Rod, not a Rat Rod, so let's get that out of the way right off the bat. The original 1930 Ford Coupe top was chopped 3" (the original crank-out windshield is still fully operable), and the firewall and everything up front was moved forward 3" for more leg room, which really makes all of the difference in the world. All of the panels are laser straight all of the way around the car w/ hundreds of man-hours spent making sure that everything lined up perfectly. The body was then covered in a beautiful shade of Forest Green, which is actually an 80's-era Range Rover color, and looks outstanding on this Coupe. Every single component on this car is 100% brand new, w/ many of the items coming from SoCal Speedshop in Las Vegas, including the '32 Ford style Step-Boxed chassis (fully powder-coated), drop-axle, 4-link suspension, chrome shocks, front disc-brakes, etc. Again, everything is 'brand new' front to back & side to side. She has the perfect stance and sits on 16" Rocket wheels w/ optional knock-off lug covers wrapped w/ Firestone Deluxe Champion tires (7.50 x 16 on the rear & 5.50 x 16 up front). Open the driver's door and you will find an ultra-clean traditional style Hot Rod interior, featuring a fully adjustable black vinyl bench seat w/ matching door panels & matching kick panels w/ storage pockets, body colored upper dash, black dash insert w/ full set of Classic Instruments gauges, '40 Ford steering column w/ 4-spoke steering wheel, Lokar 14" shifter, chrome door handles & windows cranks, (2) sets of black seat belts, and a Custom Autosound Secretaudio SST AM/FM/USB/WMA Flash Drive receiver mounted under the dash. All of the wiring for the sound system is in place w/ speaker wires behind the kick panels for the speakers of your choice to be mounted in the future. This is the most spacious Model A interior that I have ever experienced, as I am 6'1" and 210 Lbs., and fit comfortably inside w/ plenty of head & legroom. Again, the bench seat is fully adjustable for you shorter folks. Powering this beautiful '30 Ford Model A Hot Rod is a brand new 347ci small-block Ford Stroker motor from Blueprint Engines, featuring: 10.0:1 compression ratio, blueprint aluminum heads, hydraulic roller cam, cast steel crank, forged pistons, etc. A set of lake-style cermakrome-coated headers w/ caps connect to a pair of Magnaflow mufflers which sound awesome! The motor was dyno-tested before leaving Blueprint Engines, which shows that the 347ci stroker motor produces 415-horsepower w/ 420 Lbs./Ft. Torque. That's a lot of juice for a little Ford Model A Coupe, trust me! The motor is linked to a brand-new TCI Ford C4 automatic transmission w/ a new TCI C4 aluminum bellhousing, which feeds power to the rebuilt Ford 9" rear axle w/ 3.50 gear ratio. She fires up instantly settling into a nice smooth idle, and when it's time to go, let me tell you, she GOES! I have had dozens of 1929-1930 Ford Model A's over the years, and I can safely say that this is the best driving example that I have ever experienced by far! The power/torque that she delivers is really something you need to experience for yourself. The new Unisteer Ford cross-steer rack & pinion setup makes driving around town effortless, and the front disc brakes are super responsive, stopping the Coupe on a dime. What really impressed me about this car is the lack of squeaks, rattles, and unwanted noises that a huge majority of these Hot Rods have. It is super-solid and drives as smooth as can be. The boys @ Welderup know what they're doing, that's obvious, but Travis Von Deeter & Danny Coggins truly built a special little Hot Rod here. It has the perfect mix of traditional stylings w/ modern driveline components that make for an amazing driving experience.Again, if you have been searching for the 'perfect' Hot Rod that you can drive & enjoy to the fullest, and win 'First Place' awards @ any national level car event that you decide to enter, you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1930 Ford 5-Window Model A Coupe!
