Description of 1924 Ford Model T

Up for sale is a 1924-1925 Ford Model T body shell. This body was reportedly a dry lakes race car built in the 1950's. It was originally a coupe, but was converted to a roadster, with the doors welded shut and a tubular framework to support the body. Top edges were rolled around the tubes. Very solid overall, with some rust in the lower portions. Trunk opening has been modified slightly. Very sturdy inner framework with a over sized tubular support for the cowl. Looks to have been white originally, but had been repainted grey, and at some point red in the front half.
A great start to a rat rod, hot rod, custom, or a vintage Bonneville or El Mirage racer. Definitely a piece of history that you don't find often..
Please look very carefully at the photos. Maybe you can identify this body from past photo's of dry lakes racers....
