Description of 1972 Ford Torino sport |
Never restored. Carpet was taken out to expose floor boards. It has had paint jobs, aside from that it's never had major work done. Selling as is. Car is capable of running and driving, but needs work. It has trouble starting if you don't prime the carburetor. Disconnected the heater core so that the engine could run, but the heater core has a leak and needs to be replaced. I saw some fluid that may have been coolant in the pan that I left out to catch the power steering pump's leak, however I haven't seen it since. The floor boards are in fairly good shape, the trunk looks decent too. Still have the original build sheet that was under the carpet, it looks like there is one under the back seat as well. Someone cut two holes in the mufflers, they will need to be replaced. Otherwise the exhaust looks good. Under 90,000 original miles, both original key sets. Auto transmission, AC (needs to be hooked up) radio, all glass is good, has all trim, seats, ect, includes everything except for the floor liner and carpet (which was unfortunately tossed), one of the front bumper brackets, and the rear bumper. Everything else is complete to the best of my knowledge. No coolant in oil or oil in coolant. There were repairs to the wires in the trunk, aside from that the wiring harness is original and complete. Two of the tires are new from Less Schwab, the other two tires hold air. Rear rims are original. 351CJ (Q code) engine with four barrel carb. VIN: 2H35Q121179. Car has been garaged all it's life minus one of the six most recent years that I have owned it, in which it was covered with a tarp. I have a clear title in hand. Happy bidding, let me know if you have questions.Sale will be final, you must haul it off yourself. Located in Missoula, MT *Note that the tools and bike in the garage are not included. |
