Description of 1966 Ford Galaxie 7-Litre |
Two (2) RARE 1966 Ford Galaxie 428 7-Litre 4 speed + 7-Litre Autoconvertiblecars You get BOTH Cars and all the extra parts...everything I have for the cars. . I have taking some time to put the newly rebuilt 4 speed, new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, NOS Hurst Shifter and install into the car. I am almost completed. Just ordered some electrical switches and bushings so I can mount/install before adjusting the Hurst shifter linkageand clutch pedal. Other than that it's adding the gear oil to the newly rebuilt 4 speed trans, installing the emergency brake cable (need to wait until linkage is adjust so not in way). Then I can lower car and put seats back and take out for a spin. So price now reflect (or soon) a running 4 speed 7 Litre Convertible with a low mileage rebuild on the engine as well. Back on the Market because of my mistake. Was sold via another site. I pulled the titles out and realized the one I never transferred into my name. Took care of that today and was told I will have title in 2-3 weeks. The buyer did not wish to wait so I refunded their deposit in full. Manual Car: (428ci - 4 speed rebuilt trans)Pretty sure the manual car has all original equipment besides what appears to be a replacement mirror on the drivers door. Engine runs with gas in float bowl but fuel pump or something is not refilling float bowl. Does need work and there is some rust and would call a project car but what a car to work with since it's very very rare. Have extra frame, floor, trunk, doors, fenders, quarters and other parts. I was going to build from the extra frame so I could us the existing frame as a guide to show me where parts went. That was plan A. Then plan B was to put manual in auto car. And keep and drive while storing manual car for a time until I had time to learn how to restore. See note belowThe 1st 12 images are of the manual car and before I pulled interior to swap trans - has black interior - vin 6U63Q Auto Car: (428ci - automatic trans)This was a good driver. Motor was worked on about 3 years ago and runs great. I was driving this car until I decided to put the manual in it. It has some rust but mild. Nice car overall. The last 12 images are of the auto car before I pulled interior to swap trans - has a red interior - vin 6E63Q Additional photos on my other ad:https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/ford-7-litre-4-speed-convertible-auto/6873244590.html Note: I put a hold/stop to everything since my mom just recently passed and I just want to sell everything and downsize. She was living in part of my home but now my home is just way to big for the rest of us. I pulled manual trans and had it rebuilt. Flywheel resurfaced, have new clutch and pressure plate and bearing. Was moving forward with putting into auto 7-Litre and had pulled auto trans too. Auto trans is out of car and the seats and center console since I had to access the top tunnel(s) to get measurements. I have all of the parts I took out sorted by auto/manual and labeled as to where they came from and order in which I pulled them. Selling as a PAIR ONLY!! Since someone may want to continue where I left off with plan A or like my plan B idea. When you buy everything, everything described in this listing is yours. Selling because my Mom just recently passed away who was living in part of my home and I want to downsize. If you want to make an offer please be fair. I am not giving the cars away. Just selling at a fair price. Have clear title in hand for the one car and waiting on PennDOT to send other (2-3 weeks)Both cars being sold as-is and where-is Please email if you have any questions.
