Description of 1978 Ford Bronco --

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 4X4 for purchase. In mid-1977, Ford introduced the first full size Bronco's for the 1978 model year. The long awaited '78 Bronco was so popular that many people had to wait six months or longer to get one from their local Ford dealer. Customers just couldn't get enough of them. The automobile and truck magazines of the time raved on an on about the new full size... Bronco's and in 1978, the Bronco practically swept up every accolade with the 4X4 and "Truck of the Year" awards. The 1978 Ford Bronco offered here is a very sharp example harvested for the great state of California. It features Fords the Ranger XLT package, which was Fords highest trim package. The truck came equipped from the factory with a 351 V8 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, 4 wheel drive, power rear window, front bench seat, rear mounted spare, exterior and interior Ranger XLT trim levels. The exterior body appears to retain its factory body panels and has been treated to new two-tone, dark blue metallic and white exterior paint. The original Ranger trim remains in excellent condition and the truck features its removable hard top. The underside of this truck remains unrestored and presents very clean and dry. Under the hood everything appears very stock and complete with the exception of on upgraded aluminum radiator. Other highlights include: Pro Comp custom Aluminum wheels, rear mounted spare, front brush bar, rear mounted antenna, 3 spoke steering wheel and chrome front and rear bumpers. Ford's reputation for reliability, utility and overall ruggedness still continues to drive the popularity of these classic trucks. Clean, well-maintained examples such as the one offered here will not last long on our floor.
