Description of 1931 Ford Model A Phaeton |
Up for sale is our 1931 Ford Phaeton Custom. She was brought into our family on my daughter's 4th birthday. Now my daughter is in college and we need to let our hot rod go. The '31 runs and looks great and has absolutely no known issues; always garage kept and no rust. As can be seen by the pictures, she is old school built. The cloth convertible top was removed when we first received her; never put on again. Top is in excellent condition well preserved and stored. The two pictures of the top on the car are from when we first bought her. Check out the period correct headlamps. Front fenders are steel made from period correct spare tire mounts. Rear fenders we believe are fiberglass. We drove this car to local car shows and in parades. She will not disappoint you! Also, for all the people who viewed and bid on my car before, I have added another picture to show some more details ofhow creative the builder was. Look at the vintage pedals and levers on the brake and clutch. And, yes that is a connecting rod that supports the steering column. Twice I had offers of $25,000. Hopefully, you will agree with me that she deserves a little more consideration...Thank you for looking. The following lists the car's vitals: 1. Ford 289 engine 2. World Class T5 Transmission 3. Ford 9 inch rear 4. 6,984 miles since built 5. Body from real 1931 Ford Phaeton Note: We will help with coordination between you and your shipper. I will not ship for free. |
