True Mach 1 - Marti Report - Restored in Original Color Combination - 351 'Cleveland' V8 - Lots of Recent Maintenance - (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1...Garage Kept Motors is proud to offer this beautifully restored Mach 1 for consideration. Calling West Michigan home for its whole life, this Mach 1 is finished in an eye catching and factory original color combination. A great deal of work to the car was completed in 2012 and 2013. The car was gone through with updates to the engine, braking system, vehicle cooling system, body, and a number of interior parts. A binder of receipts, correspondence from previous owners, Marti Report, and even a gas receipt from June of 1976 give a glimpse of cars documented history. Stand out with this different and totally 70's curb appeal. Not a bright red, or yellow, but this gorgeous Ivy Green (code 4C) looks phenomenal in any light. Silver metallic Mach 1 graphics, rear spoiler, functional ducts in the hood, rear window louvers and 15" chrome Magnum 500 wheels finish off the aggressive look of this Mustang. And Holy Guacamole! - the interior is finished in factory green......well, "Avocado" (code AG) to be exact. When we said period correct colors, this is straight off the Marti report and corresponding trim tag. We love to see vehicles like this preserved the way they were when they left the production plant. Other features found in the interior are bucket seats, console, wood grain steering wheel, AM/FM Radio, and clock. Under the hood is a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.  The engine was recently refreshed with a number of parts being replaced including belts, hoses, gaskets, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, alternator, fuel tank, distributor, and the carb was rebuilt. In addition to the engine being refreshed, the master cylinder, brake calipers, brake hoses, and shocks have also been recently replaced. The car is turn key ready and ready for a new garage to call home. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
