Description of 1957 Ford Thunderbird

1957 Bird – Starmist blue & Colonial WhiteThis Bird is in wonderful shape with its 312 engine humming out 245 hp and its 4bbl carb driving you to a wonderful experience. We snared our bird in 1964 and had it restored down to the frame in 1972 by TBIRDS inc. of Santa Monica CA. Nested securely in a garage since we got it. we have kept it in good working order. A very strong and smooth running engine assures loads of praise when driven or viewed by friends or passersby alike. Contact 760-522 -8532 for informationUnder the hood:1. The engine went to a machine shop for a complete rebuild including having hardened valve seats installed in the heads so unleaded fuel can be used. 2. An alternator was installed to improve the electrical system and eliminate battery failures. 3. Original finned rocker covers enhance the appearance. 4. The power steering pump has a chrome cap and the 4bbl carb has a original chrome cover. 5. A battery disconnect mechanism was installed. In the cockpit:1. Upholstery restored to two tone blue and has no tears or rips. 2. The Port hole top headliner also has no tears or rips. 3. Crash dash fiberglass is in perfect condition. 4. Power steering and brakes. 5. Telescoping steering column. 6. Air conditioned by Mark IV7. AM/FM tape radio (original wonderbar radio included)8. Original lighter9. Original clock10. Both wing windows11. Original floor mats (new)12. Dash paint and knobs in beautiful shape In the Trunk:Trunk restored to original. Full spare tire assembly. Plummage (outside)1.
