Description of 1948 Ford Sportsman Woody Convertible |
| This Sportsman was purchased by my father, a retired contractor/carpenter, as a project car in the early 1990's. He completed the frame-up assembly by 1994. Unfortunately, poor health limited his ability to drive the car more than a few miles. He passed away in '09. My sisters and I inherited the Sportsman and drive it only a couple of times per year, often in parades....We would like to see someone enjoy this rare car as much as my father enjoyed building it. |
