Description of 1973 Ford Mustang |
Description- For sale is this beautiful 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible in Carolina blue. She has been driven down the picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway of the Carolinas, cutting through the crisp mountain air and witnessing breathtaking views. I'm convinced that nothing beats putting the top down on a sunny day and driving this baby down the parkway or into town, wind in your hair and opportunity in your veins! Along with her adventurous history, she features a 351 Cleveland Engine, brand new steering column, fully functioning electric front seats (still have the original front seats), original back seats, mag rims, new tires, and much more. This car is sure to get looks and compliments, even offers! Please let me know if you have any questions about this rare gem of the Carolinas. Automotive History- 1973 brought some mild restyling. The urethane front bumper became standard and was enlarged in accordance with new NHTSA standards. All Mustang models had their sports lamps re-purposed as turn signals, as the new bumper covered part of the front valance (and therefore the previous turn signal location). These new lamps - unlike their 1971/72 counterparts. The 1973 model year Mustang was the final version of the original pony car, as the model name migrated to the economy, Ford Pinto-based Mustang II the next year. Convertibles were equipped with a power top and a glass rear window. The 1973 models were the last Mustangs available as a convertible until 1982- the 83 model year |
