I am listing this car for a good friend of mine who does not own a computer. This auction is for a 1937 Ford Deluxe 4 door sedan. 85 hp flat head V-8 3 spd manual trans. Car runs and drives great. At one point in time the car went through a frame up restoration. A little over $23000 was spent on the car. Running gear had been gone through. New lebaron -bonney interior. All new chrome, new glass, window felts and rubbers, new fuel tank, new dualexhaust, brand new Ford script white wall tires, etc. The car has been converted to hydraulic brakes for better stop ability. Also it has a coil conversion for the distributor. All lights and electrical salong with gaugeswork. He did tell me that the speedometer recently quit working and will need to be addressed. The body and undercarriage is in really nice condition. He believes the car was originally from Texas. One thing that I did notice was a 4 inch by 4 inch patch on each side of the frame just below the cowl area. It appears to be only on the outside portion and looking closely it is not due to any rust issues. Actually the frame is quite clean. I have no idea why it is there . It is ground down and feathered quite smoothly so you have to look to see it. You really could grind it even smoother and make it invisible. I try to describe my listings as honestly as I can so I feel I should put that out there. This does not affect the integrity of the car.We have a clear title and proper dealer paper work.
