Description of 1974 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT |
Original California truck in great condition. I have owned this beauty since November 2016 and was sold at the Las Vegas Barrett Jackson auction in 2015. It is in superb mechanical condition and runs beautifully with a 390 V8 paired with a C6 three-speed automatic transmission with less than 98,000 original miles. The body is in equally great shape with a classic red/white exterior and red interior. The exterior paint is in good condition except the hood and cab roof, which are in okay condition (see photos for more detail). No rust or rot to be found anywhere. The 20" custom wheels and the dual exhaust are a great compliment to this old classic. The 8 foot truck bed is in terrific shape and comes with a rhino liner that was painted red to match the truck and also has a rubber bed mat for additional protection. The bed is covered by a vinyl snap-on removable bed cover. The interior is in terrific shape from the red cloth and vinyl upholstery, vinyl headliner and carpet. The only flaws are minor cracking in the dash and steering wheel. Other features include air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, AM/FM stereo with a USB input, rear sliding window, dual 20 gallon fuel tanks. I have all paperwork since I've owned it and some paperwork from prior owners and from the Barrett Jackson auction. Known work done prior to my ownership:

Spare parts and accessories (sold with the truck):
Over $25,000 invested. Asking $24,500 - no low ballers or tire kickers. I know what I have and I'm not under any huge crunch to sell, but unexpected family changes have resulted in not using it enough to justify keeping it. Located in San Jose, California. For serious buyers, please contact Scott. |
