I have for sale a 1969 Lunar Green Bronco. It has 119,133 documented original miles. The 302 engine has been started and ran well when provided spark and fuel manually. The truck does not drive however it shouldn't take more than a days work after a rear drive shaft has been sourced (missing). It has the original engine, radio, jack, owners manual, headliner, and hubcaps. The side vent windows function as they should. It also has the original paint, and has spent most of its life in California which, fortunately, has spared most of the body panels from harsh winters and humid summers. There is an issue with the key or the ignition. It appears to be original to the truck however the ignition will not turn. The vehicle was last registered in 1988 and has been stored ever since. There are several examples of resprays and dressed up broncos selling for twice as much. A restoration shop cannot stress the importance of paint placed there at the factory on bare metal in new condition with no hidden filler, no hiding rot, and no costly surprises that can torpedo a dream restoration. That's not to say this is a showroom bronco and it will need plenty but it is only every so often you find them this original and with almost all the panels intact and rot free. It will need excessive work on the drivers side fender or an altogether new replacement as shown in pictures. It also does have the under hood inner fender rust associated with the early broncos. There is a dent on the passenger rear quarter and many more various imperfections as shown in the images. Please review the images carefully and only bid if you are confident in its condition. If you are familiar with broncos and California vehicles then you know exactly what an opportunity this is. If you have any questions or photo requests please do so before bidding. This is a no reserve auction and the winner will take it.
