Description of 1970 Ford Other Restomod

This 1970 Ford Maverick has the slick paint and value price to grab your attention. But it's the growling V8 that will really have you hooked on this all-around cool classic. The bold calypso orange paint is a great canvas to showcase a terrific custom look that borrows the best from Ford. The painted black stripping package has a nice mix of Grabber Maverick and Boss Mustang. The front air dam, faux hood scoop, blacked-out tail panel, and... full-width rear spoiler all look borrowed from the Boss, too. This all looks great, because the Maverick's style is really coming into its own on the classic car scene. This has a real sense of style with the long hood, fastback roof, and a hint of Coke-bottle curve in the profile. Plus, it has great shining details - from the mirror-like bumper to those Cragar SS wheels. The black accents on the outside are a nice preview of the full black interior. They invested in updating the inside so it looks nice, and there's even an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input. But what you really notice about the interior are all the competition-ready components. It includes high-back racing seats with full harnesses. There's a grippy Grant sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge package, fire extinguisher, and large columnâ€"mounted tach. And that B&M ratchet-style shifter is a shining beacon calling out to your right hand. Under the hood is more of the bold orange and proper Ford 289 V8 power. This is an enhanced setup with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, cast aluminum valve covers, and long tube headers that add even more power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. The C4 three-speed automatic unit is a stout setup that's enhanced further by the fined Trick Flow pan. This feeds a spool rear end for true completion-style take-offs. Plus, there are power brakes with discs up front and the grip of meaty Goodyear Eagle ST tires. Nicely presented, nicely upgraded, and nicely priced â€" this is V8 coupe you've been waiting for. So don't let it slip away, call today!!!
