Description of 1966 Ford Mustang |
1966 Ford Mustang Pro Touring JADED I am very pleased to offer this one of a kind custom 1966 Pro Touring Mustang affectionally known as “Jaded.” Owner and auto expert Kevin Tetz designed and had this car built with the help of industry experts and Eastwood products. Please be sure to view the multiple links to videos and articles and also be sure to review the pictures carefully. These resources really emphasize how unique and special this car is. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to add a one of a kind pony car to their collection. This car has been featured at 2012 SEMA car show, magazine articles and numerous videos. Now it can be featured as a centerpiece of your collection. VIN # is 6707T370310 and mileage is only approx. 1000 since the car was built. OVERVIEW: “JADED” ( Definition – a disreputable or ill-tempered woman) This 1966 Coupe started it’s second life as a 6 cyl, 3 speed car, ending up in Kevin Tetz restoration shop as a worn out high mile rust bucket. Over the past 6 years It has graced the pages of several articles in “Mustang & Fords” as well as “Mustang Monthly” magazines, featured in tech stories such as: No-Weld Cowl vent repair with PBA adhesives, Basic Bodyshop Tools, Full floor Replacement, and the E2 Fiberglass conversion kit from Mustang Depot. This coupe has also been one of the subjects for the award winning Paintucation “Body Panel Replacement!” instructional DVD. The build plan for Jaded utilizes the geometric and structural advantages of the “SCHWARTZ PERFORMANCE” full frame mandrel bent chassis, that features SN95 power rack & pinion steering, adjustable triangulated for link rear, adjustable Ridetech coil over suspension, NASCAR style anti roll bars, Circle Track fully adjustable unequal length upper and lower front suspension, Factory Ford Hydro boost COBRA brake cylinder, Baer 14 Inch 6P Performance Braking system, 9 inch Chrome Molly rear axle housing, Strange 31 spline shafts, Limited Slip differential with 3:73 Gear Ratio, and a freshened & modified 2004 Terminator Supercharged & tuned 4.6 Mod Motor backed by a T-56 6 speed. Body modifications include 2009 S197 Mustang headlamps, Weight saving Shelby style Fiberglass hood, deck lid, custom fabricated front valance, side exit exhaust, as well as “Mustang Project” LED Shelby taillights & many other custom features. The interior is a mix of modern and classic, with the 2004 Mustang Cobra dash and center console, as well as the heavily bolstered seats from the 2004 Cobra Donor car. The interior sports push butting start, ISIS Multiplex wiring systems, One Piece Headliner, and a Ridetech “TigerCage” Stainless Steel bolt in Roll cage. A Push-button start system completes the high performance picture on the inside, and the aggressive but subdued exhaust note ( at idle) hint at the high performance experience that goes with this vehicle.
