Description of 1970 Ford F-100 custom

This is a 1970 ford f-100 with a 302 v8 the truck will start and drive but dies after 3 to 5 minutes. I am of the opinion that the rings are bad and the pressure is building and killing the motor. It may also need a good carb clean. there are some pictures of rust but for the most part it is a solid desert truck with little to no cancerous rust. Please call with any questions.
