Here's the result ofa 2-1/2 year restoration/ modification of a 1966 Ford Falcon 2-door sports coupe. Car was originally a 6 cylinder with automatic trans. It is now a 289 cubic inch V8, 4-barrel carb, and a manual 4-speed toploader transmission. It runs perfectly and is a delight to drive.Much on this car has been improved: the engine is freshly rebuilt (less than 3500 miles since it was done), 4-V Holley carb is rebuilt, new distributor, trans is rebuilt, rear end is rebuilt, new clutch and pressure plate, new exhaust (pipes and mufflers), new brakes includingstainless steelfront disc brakes, new 4-core radiator, battery, voltage regulator, starter, alternator, rear air shocks. New fuel lines, fuel pump, water pump, stainless 5-blade fan, all belts and hoses. New 15 inch tires mounted on American Racing wheels. Newly recovered bucket seats, new console, headliner, carpeting, seat belts. New paint, newly chromed bumpers, etc, etc. plus much more not mentioned. Car is currently equipped with a retro stylecompetitionteardrop hood, but if you prefer a stock hood I also have one of those in perfect condition, painted to match the car. This car was originally from Alabama and has never seen salt or Northeast winters. The body is virtually perfect and rust free. You would be hard pressed to find a 66 Falcon in better condition, and in this state of meticulous restoration, for anything near the asking price of $24,500.
