This 1942 Ford Woody Wagon is a Dearborn award winner from a national meet held at the Waters Edge in Westbrook Connecticut in 2001. This car has been stored in a heated garage, and maintained and cared for by myself. My father and I restored the wagon. I worked in a body shop for 5 years where I learned how to properly restore a vehicle. We also owned for many years, a 1954 jag xk-120 convertable, a 1963 xke coupe, a 1955 buick special convertible, and a 1963 ford t-bird convertible. My father and I worked on and maintained all these vehicles. The wagon looks the same on the top as it does underneath, and runs great. The clock winds up and works, the radio warms up and works... it has the orignal tube radio, heat works, aftermarket period correct turn signals etc... All the wood is orignal, accept one piece across the top of the rear window, that was replaced with the correct piece of wood. The motor runs great and idles nice. The brakes and clutch are good also. Chassis # *18-6840075* Body # 1139 This 1942 Ford Super Deluxe Wagon is perfect and must be seen.
