*. https://www.flickr.com/photos/168771713@N04/sets/72157710268931922 1973 Ford F-250 4x4 Custom. Factory Highboy. Dealer installed Warn winch (works great). Original low mile survivor. Just 82k original miles. Freshly rebuilt original big block 360. Factory four speed transmission, power brakes. This Highboy has three gas tanks. Purchased from the original owner who had an impressive collection including a 1966 Shelby Mustang. This Highboy is a time capsule. Impeccable maintenance history. Immaculate condition. Always stored inside since new. The original paint is stunning. The interior is in near mint condition. Pride of ownership shows through out the truck. MOTOR & TRANSMISSION- The original big block 360 has been recently professionally rebuilt. Holley four barrel carburetor. The motor runs like a watch. The engine/engine bay are immaculate and highly detailed. Stock intake and exhaust manifolds. Four speed transmission. Dual batteries. Front and rear two inch receiver hitch's. This truck has had meticulous maintenance since new. Upgraded Petronix electronic ignition. New dual exhaust, both battery's, alternator, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. Fresh complete tune up including radiator hoses, all belts, fluids, fuel filter, heater core hoses, ect. The motor runs perfectly, transmission shifts great, four wheel drive works flawlessly. INTERIOR- The interior of this truck is in extraordinary condition and is all original with the exception of the reupholstered front bench seat. The dash board is in perfect condition and has no cracks. The door panels and headliner are in like new condition. The original rubber floor mat shows minimal were. All gauges, and electrical work perfect. Nice rear sliding window. All of the interior dash lights, lights, electrical, all three fuel senders for the three gas tanks, and original radio work perfectly. PAINT & BODY- The stunning paint on this truck is 100% original. The body is arrow strait and free of rust (no bubbles, blisters, ect.) The truck has been garaged/barn kept since new. The floors, rockers, and cab are completely free of any rust. The original paint was professionally polishedto a beautiful and vibrant finish.I recently refinished the original rims in the correct silver color. The undercarriage is clean and tidy as seen in the picture link above. The truck drives and handles like a new truck, no really, I am not exaggerating... The steering is tight with no excessive play. All front end bushings have are in good condition or have been replaced. The complete brake system has been rebuilt. The truck tracks strait and true and does not pull when braking. The original door data plate as well as the door jamb vin sticker are still on the truck (see pictures). Some notable extras include; front and rear heavy duty two inch receiver hitch, three gas tanks, new tires front and rear, dealer installed Warn winch with remote. I am very regretfully selling my prized Highboy as I am restoring a 1968 Ford Bronco and don't need two classic four wheel drives. The truck runs/drives great, and looks amazing. A true time capsule survivor... When is the last time you have seen a Highboy in this kind of Original un-restored condition? Truly are rare find... The truck is very reliable and needs nothing. ***I will be happy to assist in shipping the Highboy.Inspections are welcome but must be done before the end of the auction. I will be happy to answer any questions in person, over the phone, or by email. Any questions? Just ask. |
