.A unique opportunity to own one of the best foxbody mustangs ever made. Only 1800 cars were made during the 4 years life span of the model. This is a 2-seat roadster that was developed with a partnership between Ford, ASC and Mclearn. MSRP of the car in 1988 was $26,500. While standard 5.0 mustangs were selling for $11,000. The conversion cost alone was about $14k. The conversion included taking a standard 5.0 mustang hatchback and converting it to a 2 door roadster, while enhancing the interior, modifying the exterior (20 degree angle on the windshield, better ground effects) and improving handlings.
