For sale here is a very nice 1963 Ford Thunderbird convertible. Its painted in the rare and attractive Silver Mink paint color code G. The body is in good shape as is the underside. The interior is the original black leather code 86. This '63 T-Bird runs well and has good brakes. The brakes were fully redone in 2012. In fact, I have a parts and labor list from the previous owner totaling over $14,000 since 2012. The tires are in fine shape and are Firestone radials. The ride on Kelsey Hayes chrome rims and look great! Some major systems redone by the previous owner were: 2012-new brakes, new power steering box and system, 2013-rebuilt engine, 2015-new convertible top pump and new deck lid/flipper lid motor coupler. The top itself is in good condition and almost fully operates. It operated fully and quickly until just recently when "it decided" to stop at the point where it simply shuts the trunk lid. The trunk lid opens, deck flipper flips up, top lifts off and stores itself in the trunk, then the trunk lid does not go down. I haven't got the trouble-shooting accomplished to get the last step to happen. If I do, I'll update the listing, but it is a fairly simple fix once found. The windshield has 1 small crack. The interior is all original and is in pretty darn good condition except the front seats need the covers replaced. They are fully usable as-is, but need redone. the seat foams are good and ride nice. The door panels are nice. The dash is nice. Back seat is good. Decent carpet. The gauges are clear and are working. The wipers work. The remote mirror, vent windows, and swing-away steering wheel work. The vent windows work and have nice clear plastic wind deflectors. Headlights and taillights work. The turn signals do need the "blinker switch" replaced. Horn works. power windows work and with rear seat switches. Heat and defrost work with 3-speed fan. Both door locks work. The radio crackles. The clock does not work. If you would like a complete list of new parts installed since 2012 and their costs, I can email it to you. I had trouble uploading it to the listing. The "ird" on the driver's side rear quarter panel is missing. New scripts are available and aren't expensive. Overall, this flashy, silver, 1963 Thunderbird convertible is an impressive car and fun to cruise around town. Once the last pesky power top segment is addressed, you'll have a very cool car to drive through the neighborhood. Please feel free to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available.
