Description of 1992 Ford Bronco |
For Sale: 1992 Ford Bronco 4x4This Bronco has the 5. 8 Liter V8 matched to a automatic transmission. It is four wheel drive with a manual shifter on the floor and manual locking hubs. Considering its age. the body is in good condition. The Bronco is originally from Arizona. (see Auto Check report). therefore it has not experienced North East weather untill more recently. There is some rust at the bottom of the driver's side front fender. however the rear fenders only have minor paint bubbling. Underneath there is only surface rust. the frame is solid. The hood does have sun fading to paint. It has the expected scratches and dings throughout. It is the XLT trim with power steering. tilt wheel. AM/FM radio. cassette player. A/C. power windows. power door locks. cruise control. running step. and ball at bumper. The Bronco starts up. runs. drives. and stops good. Since it has been sitting recently. I'm sure it would benefit from a tune up. By looking at the vehicle. you can tell that it has been well maintained throughout its life. The tires are in great shape. It has 249. 05 miles at the moment. Keep in mind it is also a 23 year old truck so it is no where near perfect. It does need a few things at the moment. Exhaust pipe from muffler back (Exhaust currently ends at muffler output). drivers door latch needs work (Door needs help to latch and stay closed). rear window / tailgate needs work. passenger window switch needs to be fixed. driver's seat has a rip. etc. I originally got this truck at the beginning of the winter with the intention of having a plow put on it. I never got around to obtaining a plow for this winter. I have not driven this truck much as it is currently not registered. Since I got it. it has been sitting. but was started up every couple weeks. The last time it was started up before yesterday. it was a really cold week and the battery was dead. I charged up the battery and now it seems to start up on its own for now. It will need a new battery in the future. I have the clean NY title which was signed over by the previous owner. The signed over title is the only paperwork I have for the truck. I do not have service records. owners manual or anything else. I think this Bronco would be ideal for a plow truck like I originally intended. maybe a good enclosed work truck. off road use. or full restoration candidate. It definitely needs some work as it sits now. but as you will see it has a lot of life left in it. This Bronco is SOLD AS IS. Any questions feel free to email or call me on my cell 203 219 6610.
