Description of 1967 Ford Mustang |
Up for sale is a 1967 Mustang Fastback conversion car. This project will be listed once for 7 days. I will not relist. Send offers! Low ball offers will be automatically declined. Price without motor and transmission: $9500. Message me if you're interested and I will re-adjust listing. There is more money in just parts than what this will sell for. Aftermarket fastback roof conversion kits are $4500 plus shipping. This comes with an original roof, thousands of dollars worth of new parts, hundreds of hours worth of work done. Unfortunately, due to work and other projects, I do not have the time to finish it. Originally the car was a coupe. Top was cut off and replaced with an original fastback roof. The roof is set in place, just needs welded. There is very little rust on the car. Most of the sheet metal is new or rust free original. If you were to buy a project mustang and start from scratch, like I did with this one, you will have 10's of thousands of dollars in it and hundreds of hours of work if you do it right. You will not save money buying a cheap project that needs everything. I've recently accepted a promotion at work and physically do not have the time or energy to finish this. Believe me I would if I did! I really don't want to sell but the reality is it will sit in my garage for a long time before I have time again or I may never have the time. This does not mean I will give it away. If it does not sell it will continue to sit in my garage (I'm okay with that). I would replace the rear frame rails and torque boxes (included) and get rid of the extra box steel that was added. This will be an awesome car when finished! Essentially a street legal drag car.
