Offered for sale is a 1963 Ford Thunderbird in Sherwin Williams Ti-Stage paint "Sunset Red over Black Pearl" and Red/White vinyl interior. Call, Email or Text me at 208-254-2040 the car is in spokane asking 18,500 but will entertain any reasonable offer DESCRIPTION New upholstery and headliner installed. After market look a like radio replaced the original radio and speaker. AM/FM, SIX DISC CD CHANGER, AND I-POD OR KINDLE CONNECTOR. New shocks replaced the steering gear ( this year did not have a power steering rack) to replace the gear you have to pull the engine New water pump, alternator, power steering pump. The most detailed written response as to what was done to the engine etc is in my paperwork. The invoice from united engine and transmission. The automotive machinist that installed the shocks, steering gear, and rebuilt 390 left me a 4 page printed detail of what was fixed. The car came with factory installed overload springs and a frame hitch. I did not want the frame hitch or the fish gills door trim reinstalled. Complete Body and Mechanical Restoration Body, doors, trunk lid, and hood were first bead blasted then soda blasted. The body was not removed from the frame. All old lead repairs were removed in this process. Rear quarter panels were replaced. NO BONDO REPAIR. Every hole was welded, blocked, and smoothed. Sherwin Williams Tri-Stage paint was used. Sunset red over black pearl, then clear coated. Chrome trim parts were sent out for re plating. Windshield was replaced. Stainless trim pieces were cleaned up. Bumpers were not re chromed. Radiator, heater coil, and gas tank were sent out to be tanked and repaired. T-304 transmission was replaced as it could not be repaired. Brake lines and gas lines were removed and cleaned. Rear differential. 356-1 ratio was refurbished, axles and bearings were done at the same time. Front end was completely repaired or replaced. Original 390 engine was rebuilt and balanced. Beefy cam was installed. Bored 8 over, but can be rebuilt one more time. Flat top four barrel carb goes with car but a 600cfm Quick fuel carb was installed on the rebuilt engine. Petronix electric ignition system replaced the rotor type ignition. New brake hubs, brake shoes, hardware, master cylinder, power booster, were installed. Also the brakes are balanced. |
