Carolina Muscle Cars is proudly selling this 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2 which has had some modern upgrades to make this pony gallop. the 289 engine and upgraded with a 5 Speed manual transmission, this pony will run at highway speeds all day. Other upgrades include Custom Mustang Steel styled aluminum wheels, Disc Brakes, 9" positraction rear end and Vintage air conditioning, This combination makes this classic mustang capable of being a daily driver.

A North Carolina native, this 1965 Mustang is factory 289 V-8 fastback 2+2. Residing in the south, the fastback has never had any rust repair and is 100% solid. The car has original floors, trunk, and sheet metal. The restoration was performed about 8 years ago with new paint in the correct color Silver Blue Poly. The interior was restored in the correct medium blue. New carpets, dash insert, seat covers, door panels and headliner makes this interior look very tidy. All chrome and emblems were replaced during the restoration. The engine has been dressed up with Cobra valve covers and Oval Cobra air cleaner. The transmission was upgraded to a 5 Speed manual which allows the car to idle at highway speeds. This is all backed by an upgraded ford 9" positraction rear end. The wheels are custom 17" version of the original steel styled wheels from 1965. The modern take on this wheel makes this Fastback stand out from the crowd. The wheels are brand new along with four new General High Performance tires. The car rides and handles well with this package.
