1972 Mustang Mach 1 POWERED by the orig. 351 C, C6; w/ Magnum 500 Wheels (video)

1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with the original numbers matching 351 Cleveland CJ and C-6 automatic transmission. Differential is also matching with 3.25:1 open gears. Marti Report was run and is pictured in the listing.

The Mach 1 is on its third owner and it is believed the second owner made all of the changes about 2,000 miles ago. This includes: the color from the original Sebring Green with green interior to Black w/white;interior using NEW panels, seat covers, and carpet; removal of the A/C; the rebuild of the engine & transmission.All of the factory gauges work except the fuel gauge which needs a new sending unit. Sorrynone of the original parts are available except for the Magnum 500 wheels.

From all angles the color change appears to be very good and there is no green visible. Also, from what the owner's documents say all of the body panels are original to the car and it does not show signs of being in an accident. There is a small crack in the paint on the outside above the rear window.

The 351 Cleveland is believed to be internally stock but an edelbrock intake, Holley Carburetor, headers, and Ford aluminum valve covers were added. Again, the original items are not available.

Additionally, three years ago the second owner had a new gas tank installed and the power brakes (disc front, drum rear) were checked and serviced. Nothing was replaced.

The 16" American Torque Thrust wheels and 225 x 55R x 16 Goodyear Eagle Radials are only 3 years old.

The car sounds good, runs strong and the transmission shifts firm. There is a slight oil leak which appears to be coming from around the oil pan.
