You and your family/friends will be the center of attention wherever you drive in this very cool Hot Rod 1929 Ford Phaeton. It's guaranteed to draw a crowd! This old school Phaeton was first hot rodded in the 1950's with a flathead V8. It was rebuilt in the 1970's with Chevrolet components. It feature an original steel 1929 Ford Phaeton Body, Hood and Top, 1930 Ford steel fenders and running boards, a steel 1932 ford grill and shell on a boxed 1930 Ford frame. The headlights are lowered and it has '39 Ford taillights. Bumpers are '29 on front and special sedan 1930 on the rear. This car rides on original type springs with 3.5 dropped Ford axle on front and '70 Camaro axle on the rear with tube shocks. It has Camaro steering and disc brakes on the front. This car start, stops and steers very easily. The drivetrain is a reworked 1972 Police interceptor 350 V8 with angle cut valves. high lift cam, high rise intake with 850 double pumper Holley carburetor, electronic ignition. headers and a 3 row aluminum radiator with electric fan. The transmission is GM 350 with Hurst ratchet shifter. The trunk at the rear holds 15 gallon fuel cell and Stewart Warner fuel pump. The interior is bright red vinyl with 2.5 inch pleats and is fully carpeted. The original top is black vinyl. The windshield posts and frame are new stainless steel. The dash is wood with gauges - MPH, gas level, oil pressure, engine temperature, and amps. This car is a rare, original "Old School" Hot Rod phaeton that is already 90 years old.
