Description of 1965 Ford Mustang Good restoration candidate |
1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback C Code, V8, Manual 4 spd trans, front disk brakes, power steering, fold down back seat. California title in my name, all back fees paid, on a non-op now, insured through Hagerty classic car insurance. The previous owner started to work on the car. He had the underside of the car sandblasted (but didn't put any primer/sealer); rock solid floors and excellent torque boxes. Overall the car is solid all the way around, the only rust I can see is below the rear window (easy fix). NEW: Gas tank, aluminum radiator, Holley four barrel Carb, front disc brake setup, hood, fenders, radiator core support, battery tray, front and rear bumpers and comes with a new passenger side door shell with new hinges. I also have a new interior seat kit and a bunch of badges, hood tie-down kit, weather-striping and other miscellaneous parts. Also, some assembly manuals (see all pictures please). It has the Shelby hood scoop, I also have the Shelby side scoops, and Bullet style side mirrors. Supposedly the engine had been freshened up, but from sitting it supposedly has a sticky/bad valve. I never started the engine (I was going to get it fully rebuilt). I planned to build a Shelby Black/Gold Hertz Rent-a-Racer but we've sold our building and have six months to move. Payment is due in full within seven days. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. Sold as-is and as equipped. Buyer is responsible for all applicable taxes and fees. I prefer to not disclose the reserve. |
