Description of 1977 Ford F-100 Custom |
This is basically an original truck except for add-ons. This is also a truck that looks a lot better in person than in pictures. The indoor pictures are more like the way the truck really looks than the outdoor pictures. The Dennis Carpenter wheel trim is new. The dent side upper chrome and drip rail chrome was added also. The steering wheel is a new Dennis Carpenter piece as well. The carpet is new and is a heavy weave, not the cheap stuff. Also has dyno mat sound deaden-er installed under the carpet. Has a new Pioneer blue tooth radio and mic for hands free driving. The seat is reupholstered and very nicely done. as new triple gauge set and new tach all working. The door panels and window cranks and opening leavers appear new. Also has new door seals plates. he headliner is original white as well as sun visors and are in pristine condition. The under hood light, cargo light, and convenience group light work flawlessly. The dome light is LED with new lens and trim housing appears new. The windshield is a full tint windshield and this truck has intermittent wipers. I did not build this truck. All the work was done by a very meticulous individual who had the intentions of this being a daily driver. I accepted this truck on trade as part of a crew cab purchase. I'm trying to liquidate a 20 year car collection of mine and have no room to store this truck so I decided to sell it. There is no rust or paint chipping or bubbling on the roof or around the drip rails. No rust underneath. Has been converted to HEI distributor. The paint is 95% original and the hood was repainted. The bed was sandblasted and then a Rhino Liner sprayed in. The dash has a cover on it. The driveshaft was serviced and painted (new u-joints), new rear shocks, muffler and tail pipe, new starter, new clutch rod seal in floor and clutch linkage service and new dust felts installed. New radius control arm bushings. New Cooper Discoverer AT 3 tires and new American Racing Wheels. The front under fender splash guards are there and in excellent condition. New brake booster and master cylinder. Windshield washer reservoir like new. New starter solenoid, battery, cables and voltage regulator. New front and rear rubber brake lines. Bottom line is, there is nothing I can see left to repair. It steers easily, cranks as soon as starter engages, has 40 to 50# oil pressure at idle at 180 degrees temp, full clutch and brake pedal. No slack in shifting mechanism either! Note: People purchasing my vehicles have had no trouble with bank loans on these collector trucks, with proof of eBay purchase. Legal: Some items listed as new are newly re-manufactured or recently installed. |
