How about a real deal Henry Ford steel 1932 Ford Model A 5-Window Coupe? This beauty has all the bells and whistles. Let’s start with the body. A real 1932 steel body was used, and unlike most this one has not been chopped! It was painted in a bright red that looks phenomenal! Big Ford Twolite headlights keep a classic look up front with the iconic 1932 Ford grill. The stance, chrome dual exhaust tips and modern Colorado Custom aluminum... alloy wheels give this street rod a modern look. The power is provided by a Corvette 350 CID V8 engine that is mildly build with an Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, HEI ignition and ceramic coated shorty headers running to true dual exhaust. That setup gives this hot rod a great sound. The engine compartment is as much “show” as it is “go!” Chrome parts include pullies, AC compressor, alternator, hoses, valve covers and air cleaner. It has billet wire looms for the red Taylor spark plug wires. A smoothed firewall gives the engine compartment a nice finishing touch when you pop the hood. The V8 power is sent to a Turbo 350 Automatic transmission and then routed to a Ford 9” rear end with adjustable traction bars. The interior has been restored in beige leather with bucket seats, seat belts, power windows, a billet steering wheel, cold blowing A/C, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player and tilt steering wheel. The headliner, door panels and rear panel behind the seats are also finished off with custom paneling. VDO gauges in an aluminum bezel give a clean look to the painted dash. Heading underneath the car you will be happy to find a modern style front end with adjustable tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes and Aldan adjustable coil over shocks. That setup provides a great ride quality and superb handling. The underside of this car is very clean and shows the care and time that went into this build.
