This is a 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible Street Rod. It is an Original California Car and is not rotted or rusty. It has a very straight and Original Steel Body and Floors. The fenders and body are Xlnt. The entire car is all Steel and Original panels. This car was a Magazine Feature build in the 1976-79 era in Rod action and street rod, this was when the car was being built. The car is Black with Flames and Is old Lacquer paint done very nicely with a great fade > It is starting to check and flake in places making it a great patina look . The car has a 350 Chevy Engine and 350 Transmission. It has the Original Front end and a Jaguar Positraction Independent Rear end with Disc Brakes The Car Runs and Drives Nice. As I say it is a car for someone who likes the patina look of an older car or it is an excellent candidate to restore and do as you wish. it has Black Pleated interior and Power windows. It has an Original Working Spotlight on the Drivers side. It is running the original Steering Column. It has the deluxe footrests on the rear floor. All of the gauges work/ It is a manual top. The Chrome on the car is very Nice. The wheels are Older Wire spoke wheels and are starting to rust. It also has 63 T-bird Front Disc Brakes. Overall this is a Great Original Steel Body 40 Ford to own. There are not many if any street rods 40 convertibles for sale this reasonable. I have described the car and pictured it to show as well as I can. Overall it is is a very nice car and turns heads everywhere it goes. It has been a fun car to own and drive.
