Description of 1932 Ford Other

This professionally built all-steel Roadster was purchased as a rolling body and chassis package from noted specialist. Kugel Komponents. Kugel's '32 Ford frame is fully boxed with a round tube center section and was stretched 2”. pinched and was designed to fit their 55” independent rear suspension. Other highlights from the expert craftsmen at Kugel Komponents include a smooth cowl. aluminum hood and Muroc style windshield. The total price for the rolling chassis and body was in excess of $47. 00. The roller was delivered to Duffy's Old Cars in Costa Mesa. CA. which is where the rest of the rest of the build took place. For the powerplant a 1958 Chrysler 392 Hemi was selected and built from the crankshaft up using every bit of modern technology. Sitting on top is a tri-power setup from HotHeads with Holley carburetors. The transmission choice was a new Chrysler T518. Budnik wheels and components rounded out the build. Once everything was fitted and operational. the car was disassembled and painted a menacing shade of dark blue. The dark exterior looks great against all of the chrome and bright work. Marshall gauges. a black leather interior and black canvas soft top with a finished wood internal frame complete this high-end build. Once finished. it was carefully dyno tuned and meticulously aligned for proper drivability. Since completion. only 260 miles have been driven and it has always been stored indoor. Once the receipts were tallied. nearly $150. 00 was spent during the build. which took place from January 2008 to June 2009.
