Description of 1960 Ford Falcon 2 Door Station Wagon |
Here is your chance to own a Totally Real Rust Free Rare Car from Arizona. (Now located in Central Virginia) The original 144 six cylinder runs great. The rear end has been upgraded to a 1963 Falcon 5 lug rear end along with a new custom made drive shaft to match up to the original 3 speed transmission. (the original rear end and drive shaft is included with the sale) All the glass is in excellent condition except for the rear gate window which has some scratches that I believe can be buffed out. The door. tailgate and window weatherstrip and seals are new. The deluxe stainless trim is bright and the chrome is good. The front bumper is bent a little on the drivers side. The tires are like new. 2 additional 4 lug wheels and tires along with 2 - 14" 5 lug wheels with matching tires are included in case you want to upgrade the front end to 5 lug. The brakes system and hoses are new. The battery is new. The seat springs are excellent and the light blue green seat upholstery is new and in great shape. I covered them with the blanket seat covers to give the car a rat rod look. New custom formed blue carpet has been installed along with a new blue front kick panels. The door panels are orginal and not in the greatest of shape. There is also a new white headliner. Even the original AM radio still works. The steering wheel is new and the horn ring is original. has no pits and the chrome is great. (original white steering wheel goes with the sale). The lettering on the doors and the tailgate turns heads. This a great car that is a real hit at the car shows we've taken it to. |
