Description of 1929 Ford Model A |
Here is your chance to own a piece of rare american history. What you're bidding on is an all original 1929 Ford Sedan Delivery. For an 86 years old automobile this rare beauty starts right up and is a kick in butt to drive. From the time I purchased the car. I've taken it to numerous street rod events and the attention it gets is undeniable. In 2014 I used the delivery to push start my dragster at the California Hot Rod Reunion and with all the attention it even landed a spot in Rod & Kulture magazine's winter 2014 issue #40. This black beauty has been a pleasure to own and so much fun to drive. but unfortunately I have to let her go. I hope someone can give her a new home and enjoy this car just as much as I did. As mentioned before this car starts right up. and doesn't leak oil or overheat. Top speed is about 45 mph as most original model A's are. From the time I purchased the car I've done a lot of upgrades keeping it as original as possible. It has been re-wired with a complete Model A wiring harness and a 12 volt alternator conversion. I also installed a new rebuilt zenith carburetor with all new linkage. One cool feature it has is a tool box behind the passenger seat containing some of the original tools and engine crank. I installed all new wood flooring and carpet. The gauges are all new with a new panel and working panel light. All the bumpers and new with no rust. I also replaced new taillights. The tires are in good condition with minor sidewall cracks. All the upholstery is in good condition with no tears. The body is all metal and all original in great condition with the original rear door as good as it was right from the factory. I've explained to the best of my knowledge the condition of the car. There are no underlying issues or anything that I have not disclosed. If you have any additional question please feel free to message me and I would be more than happy to answer all your questions. This car is ideal for any collector. for any museum. or just an old car guy like myself who has a love for Model A's and loves to go out for a drive. Thanks for taking the time to check it out and happy bidding! |
