Description of 1937 Ford street rod 2 door sedan |
A very nice and documented build of a real decent car to start with. It can be driven anywhere!!! It has a very nice shine . Tires and wheels appear new. The CUSTOM TWEED interior is new looking and so is the headlining. It is an all ford steel car with many modern touches. It can be driven home if you so choose to do it this way. The car was built in the state of VA and they are strict on their inspections. There is very little on this car that is not new or rebuilt. THIS IS A "DRIVER" YOU ARE GOING TO SEE A LITTLE DIRT, GREASE AND RESIDUE WHERE THIS OLE GAL HAS BEEN HAVING A LITTLE FUN!!!! NOT A TRAILER QUEEN.. 1937 2 door sedan street rod - custom build!!!all ford - all steel- all ford drive line!!!!
I have many many receipts and invoices, put together in a very nice binder notebook with some pictures of the build. lots of notes its one thing to build a car but for someone to take the time to document it and what was used, takes that little extra effort the floor of car is nice. the frame has been boxed, and the tremec was just recently swapped into the car and we removed a toploader at 60 the engine is running 1800 rpm. I have more pictures and will be happy to put car on the rack and let you inspect it before you bid. I have a local shipper that I can get a quote from when that time comes ITS ABOUT 1.25 A MILE GIVE OR TAKE DEPENDING ON LOGISTICS AND TIME FRAME my phone is : Pat at 304 719 2657 thanks!! On Nov-23-19 at 14:56:50 PST, seller added the following information: The engine side panels were sold by the last owner before I purchased the car. I saw on ebay where he had sold them.. I think there was an ac line that was in the way on the rh side causing it not to fit well and he wanted to show off the motor. If someone wants the side panels, they are on ebay for about 5 or 600 and I own a body shop,, I would do the painting and fitting of them if you purchased them . I will even pay half if that helps and the car meets reserve or gets a decent offer,,,I recently bought a 32 Ford and this car needs a new home. The Tremec was installed by me,, if you go and buy one and do the steel bellhousing and all, you will have 2 or 3 thousand in the install and the parts... I removed a top loader and my friend and I had a swap of trannys,, the tremec is much smoother and better on gas,, does not run the motor as hard at highway speeds. On Nov-23-19 at 15:50:01 PST, seller added the following information: the windshield cranks out and has a new gasket too, forgot to mention that,, it goes wayyyyyyyyyyout!!! On Nov-24-19 at 12:17:06 PST, seller added the following information: the running boards may be fiberglass. The main body, doors, hood, trunk and fenders are all original Ford metal!! |
