Description of 1966 Ford Mustang |
HOW IS THE BODY CONSERNING RUST? The underside look very good, floor look original and solid, frame extension good. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS!OIL GAUGE WORKS! WIPERS WORK! HOW IS THE PAINT? The candy apple red paint shine very good, I see no dents or dings. If I look with a critical eye I see some very minor chips and a scratch touched up with matching paint. The body is very straight when you look down the sides. I consider this a very upper end driver paint job. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is not the original engine, its a big step up. Its a 302 roller engine that fits in just as good as a 289. The car was born with the inline 6. I hear no knocks or rattle in the engine and see no blue smoke. It has a up-grade electronic ignition, a new aluminum radiator, four barrel carburetor and its very clean. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting C4 automatic. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Head-liner very nice with no holes and it fits good. The door panels very good, carpet good, dash pad has no cracks, the steering wheel is a after market. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I consider it driving very good for what it is, no power steering, but it steers easy in my opinion. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? It is 4 wheel drum brakes, it stop OK, but would be better with a front disc upgrade. HOW ARE THE TIRES AND WHEELS? Good tires mounted on the original 4 lug wheels. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. CALL RON WATSON, my cell is 423-506-8987. |
