The 1929 "Shay Roadster" is a 1929 Ford Model A replica produced in 1980 and produced in conjunction with Ford Motor Company and sold Ford Dealerships. The car is in very good condition and runs like new. The engine was updated with a new webber carburetor and runs great. The 1929 Model A is powered by a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder inline motor with an 4-speed manual transmission. The paint is in very good condition. The Shay has been owned by the same family for 30 years.The car has a few flaws in the interior upholstery, cloth top repair, small interior cosmetic issues and needs new tires. Harry Shay Founded the "Model A and Model T Motor Car Reproduction Corporation" also known as "Shay Motors Corporation" in the spring of 1978. In conjunction with Ford Motor Corporation, Shay produced a limited number of Model A reproduction cars to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Model A. Ford waived its design patents so the Shay roadster could be built, and Ford marketed and sold the Shay Model A through its Ford Lincoln Mercury dealerships.
