Description of 1967 Ford Mustang |
While this 1967 Ford Mustang has a bit of an upgraded look, it's all the features beneath the skin you're really going to love. After all, with an upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, five-speed stick-shift, and 390ci V8 built for power, this is the pony that knows how to gallop. Wimbledon White is always a cool look on a Mustang, so we're glad to have this the factory-correct color still on the car today. But what really makes this a coupe of distinction are the upgrades. The red rocker stripes give this a hint of GT attitude, and the matching hood stripes help announce its boldness even more. And those black 17-inch alloys go nicely with the darkened grille and black inserts in the Deluxe hood. We like this total look, but if there's anything you want to change, the value price for this level of performance certainly leaves room in the budget for customization. All the red accents of the exterior also get you ready for all the red inside. There are some nice upgraded comfort features, like the cup holder center console and the AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input for your phone. But really, the moment you lay eyes on the interior you know this was built to get down to sporty business. After all, this has RJS racing harness up front, crisp auxiliary readouts, and a large AutoMeter AutoGauge tach mounted on the steering column for you to always easily see. And have you counted the gears on the Hurst shifter yet? The 390 cubic-inch V8 was the Mustang's top-dog factory motor from Ford in '67, and they didn't even get one as wild as this. It earns its Cobra valve covers with upgrades like the four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a set of long tube headers that add power while contributing to the thunder of the dual exhaust. It's also supported by the right components, like an MSD ignition, upgraded pulleys, and an aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. The upgrade to a five-speed manual transmission gives you the best control over the V8 as it feeds the stout Ford 9-inch rear. In fact, control is a central theme to this car's upgrades. The frame has been reinforced; a four-link rear with adjustable coilovers was added; this has been upgraded to four-wheel power disc brakes; and the upgraded wheels allow for the grip of modern performance tires. This is the classic Mustang upgraded for power and control. So you know you want to get your hand on the reins of this pony. Call today!!! |
