I purchased this 1967 Ford Ranch Wagonin 2018. It was a completely stock wagon. The couple that had it used it to tow their vintage trailer. A mechanic did some work on the car and forgot to put oil in the engine after service and ran it dry. I purchased the car and pulled the engine out. My plan was to put a big block but decided to stay withthe 289. The engine was sent to Engine Supply in Santa Ana, CA for block inspection and machingwork. A rebuild was completed including Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock 650 Carb. The original FMX 3 speed was pulled and replacedwith a new AOD 4 speed transmission. This makes for cruising the freeways at 70+mph a piece of cake. Because we changed the transmission the gears in the 9" rearend were pulled and replaced with new 4.11's. Four wheel disc brakes were installed due to the addition of 18/20 inch American Racing wheels. The car was lowered from stock height using the correct components. Eaton Detroit 2" lowering coils out back and stock Eaton Detroit HD coils up front with 2.5" Fatman Fabrication drop spindles. New KYB shocks all around. I bought this car to replace my 1964 Fairlane 500 wagon I had to sell in 2006. The floors are absolutely solid. Only 4 minor spots on the entire car have minor surface rust. The lower corners of the back doors, a 2"x2" spot on the passenger side rear roof, 6" surface rust in drip rail on driver side. The car was painted 10 years ago or at least cleared and is flaking off. Headliner is original and has a dime size tear in it. This is a radio-delete and AC car. Ididn't install the ACbecause it was big and would block the pretty engine. Though I do have the parts. New ACC Carpet kit, yet to be installed. The front seat is needs to be recovered. I have put about 2000 miles on this car since doing all the work.
