Description of 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1

This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is the vintage V8 sports car with serious size and plenty of distinction.
This is the final year for the first-gen Mustang, and Ford had really built these to own the road. The front end has the long look of a grand touring car, especially with the way the crisp crease in the sheetmetal runs all the way thought the door line. And the slope of the sports roof was one of the most daring designs of the era. So with such a distinct body, we love it even more when it's finished in its factory-correct Medium Copper. It conveys both a sophistication, and it coordinates with all the speedy black details of the Mach 1 package. This has the blackout hood with dual Ram Air scoops, large front air dam, full-width Mach 1 stripes, rear stripes, louvered rear window, and full-width rear spoiler. Heck, there's some much black on this car, it's almost like you have a two-tone Mustang!
Mach 1 is also a premium package, and this one really shows it off well. The correct white vinyl seats look well-preserved, and they match the white door panels. Plus, there's plenty of wood-like trim. So this is far more distinctive than some dark and stark classics out there. You have more great vintage features, like the armrest center console, working factory clock, and an AM/FM stereo that now has a mini-plug input for your favorite modern tunes. The classic three-spoke sports steering wheel gives you a clear view to the full gauge panel that includes a large speedo and tach.
Ford's 351 cubic-inch V8 is a mighty motor, and so we always love lifting the hood on one. And this one is particularly nice. It has a certain look and feel of originality, but there have also been some well-done upgrades. For example, you have newer ribbed valve covers and newer decals. Plus, there's a gasket to seal the hood to the Ram Air element. That means you are force-feeding fresh air to the upgraded Holley four-barrel carburetor for optimal perforamnce. It fires up readily and makes a sweet sound out of the H-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission, smooth power steering, and power brakes with discs up front complete a great driving total package.
The sale comes complete with the dealer invoice, owner's manual packet, and Marti Report. This is the interesting and well-done Mach 1 that you know has all the right distinction. So don't let this one slip away, call today!
