1972 Ford Maverick Sprint. car is a original Sprint Edition model built at Fords Kansas City plant and was sold from Jess Hunter Ford in Pueblo Colorado. Actual production date for the car was April 12. 1972. and sold on May 24th. 1972. The car was equiped with a 200ci 6 cyl. . C-4 auto. . 2. 79 rear axle ratio. and is a Bright White exterior with Bright Blue Lambeth cloth & White Corinthian vinyl bench seat. I cannot confirm or deny if the interior or exterior has been refurbished at some point in the cars life. this information comes with the Deluxe Marti report I purchased for the vehicle. and passing this information on to the new owner. I purchased this car without the motor or transmission. and selling it the way I had purchased it. with the addition of finding the correct OEM rear spoiler and side extentions that also go with the car as shown in the pictures. The Maverick will be sold without the motor and transmission as a rolling chassis as seen in the pictures. The car has minimal body damage with small areas of rust in the rear of the front fenders and small areas in the lower front section of the doors. The floor pans under the car only have surface rust and look to be very solid. there is one area on the driver side front floor that has 2 small holes just starting. The interior looks to be complete. but will need the headliner and other items replaced. the body overall looks sold with a small dent here and there. the front hood and battery mount area has rust damage. pictures are shown of those areas. Again the car will need painted interior work. I have not confirmed the rear gear ratio but believe it to be a 8" rear axle. This car would make a great vehicle to restore or modify to your taste. the issues stated are minor IMO. I simply dont have the additional time to spare or the space at the current moment as we have another project underway. The car is garaged and out of the elements. nd has been since Ive owned it. I will assist with the loading of the vehicle and I am flexible with a time frame to pick the vehicle up. That being said. I will limit this to a 2 week time frame as I need the room. The new owner is responsible for shipping the vehicle at there expense. and a non refundable deposit of 500. 00 will be with-in 24hrs of the end of the auction.
