Description of 1971 Ford Torino GRAN TORINO

1971 FORD GT GRAN TORINO TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT. This is a neat little Ford Gran Torino that will need a total resto it looks to be an all original survivor car wearing its original stripe and paint from 1971! The body is not too bad overall what you see is what you get with this car nothing hidden by multiple repaints. The cowl does have the typical Ford rot and this car will need complete floorboards they are rotted. The battery area inner fender is rotted out as well. The trunk is solid looking and the frame looks to be solid from what I can see crawling under the side to take the photos. It is powered by a 302 with a RARE 3 speed on the column! easy car to convert to a 4 speed! With a battery in it and some gas in it it started right up and ran excellent. I have a straight front bumper to replace the bent one on the car along with a front fender corner to replace the dented corner piece. The 4th hubcap and front rim are in the trunk with a flat tire. I have some extra small parts that will go with it like the side markers and some other small stuff. The driveshaft is out of the car but I have it for it. I was told it was pulled to change u-joints by the previous owner and the job was never completed. Remember THIS IS A TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT don't expect a Barret Jackson car for this ridiculous low price. This would be a great car to build a cool Mad Max Road Warrior clone!
