Description of 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra |
For sale is my 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra powered by a 5.2L Aluminator AXS crate engine backed by a SADEV SCL924 6 Speed Sequential Transmission (think Australian V8 súper car) all managed by a Holley Dominator ECU and controllers. The SADEV allows for clutchless shifts and flat foot shift....you do not have to take your foot off the throttle to shift. It has a fully custom stainless exhaust, Power By The Hour Front accessory drive, it has Maximum Motorsports Ultimate Grip Box suspension with coilovers. Rides on Forgeline GX3 wheels with brand new Falken RT615K tires. The interior has custom Recaro Sportster GTS seats, Dakota Digital gauges, roll cage. These are just a few highlights, see the build list below. The Cobra is an all original paint car except for the aftermarket cowl hood (stock hood included). All panels still have their original VIN tags. The body isn't perfect but is in phenomenal condition for an original paint car. It has always been garage kept. The interior is immaculate, the dash has no cracks, nothing on the interior is deformed or discolored. The door panels and map pockets are still very nice. Being that it's the "Ultimate Street Car" it still retains A/C, power windows, locks, a radio and all the other features one would expect, but also has 580+hp and the ability to clutchless flat footed shift! The Cobra has a clean title, clean carfax and all the original/SVT documentation. We built the car with Ford Performance as their take on the Ultimate Street Car for SEMA 2019. The body has 125k and the build has about 1000. The Cobra was displayed in the Ford Performance booth at SEMA 2019, in a Hoonigan Daily Transmission episode and numerous other articles. All of the work on the car was done by Mark McDonald, and other employees of Detroit Speed. As Im sure you can imagine the quality of the work is phenomenal, as would be expected from a DSE lead fabricator. There is roughly $140k in this build. Hundreds of photos of the build process can be made available to any prospective buyer. This is a turn key monster of a street/track car. Willing to help with shipping for out of state or overseas buyer.
