4 Sale 1941 Ford Convertible V8 3 speed on the column. Car starts/ stops/ and runs GREAT. A little history on the Ford. It was owned by a Calf. man who had it stored in his garage for several years. The body is very stright with no dents or any rust. The chrome is all very good with no pitting. The paint looks like it is the old lacquer paint job and it is showing some cracking. I had it professionally buffed out and it looks nice. I bought the car and had it delivered to my mechanic here in Palm Springs so he could go through the whole car . This is what he did to the car, New gas tank, all new gas lines, new fuel pump,new fuel filter, new fuel sending unit. New rebuilt carburetor kit. New distributor and coil, new plugs and wires. New 6 volt battery. New brakes on all 4 wheels including a new master cylinder, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, grease seals, bearings packed. New aftermarket turn signals, (looks good) New Coker 3 inch wide whitewalls plus new tubes, tire size 6:00X16 paint matching wheels, with beauty rings and Ford hubcaps. The exhaust system is in great shape (Dual exhaust with Ford chrome tips) It sounds like it should with a great smooth running flathead. This Convertible is in great shape it can drive down the Calf. freeways all day long. The differential has 3:54 gears good for the open road. And the new Tires really make for a smooth ride. The dash looks great all the Orig. gauges are working, the Orig. radio turns on but hums only. I think the radio antenna is bad. The interior is leather and cloth and is very nice no tears or rips, the convertible top is just about the same you need to look very hard to fined a bad place. The GLASS rear window is clear (NO plastic here) The top is a power top And it works. See the photo of the two fender skirts, the new tires look so good I never put the skirts on. The spotlight on the driver side is not working. The fog lights do work. This Ford Convertible gets a lot of looks anywhere I go, and I drive it, no trailer for this car. Runs great, BUT I have too many cars so this one must go.
