The Ford Mustang shook up the automotive world forever when it was introduced at the 1964 World's Fair, and it would quickly dominate the youth market. 1965 was the first full model year for the legendary pony car and this example is a perfect example of what the Mustang was all about: fun. The 289C.I. V8 under the hood is the powerful "A" code variant equipped with with a 4-barrel carburetor. That powerplant is connected to the smooth C-4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission that makes cruising around in this classic American convertible an easy and pleasurable experience. Power steering adds to that driving ease and the upgraded power 4-wheel disc brakes ensure safe and secure stops. The wheels have been upgraded to lightweight aluminum units, but retain the look of the classic Ford styled steel wheels.
